I help my clients to explore the baggage of their past, the challenges of the present, and their dreams of the future.
I received my masters in social work from Columbia University in New York City and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and feelings of stuckness related to childhood trauma, life transitions, panic attacks, feeling unable to relax, gender, sexuality, and more. Whatever your demons are, we will fight them together. Most of my clients experience a greater sense of clarity within a few sessions, with feelings of ease and hope following shortly after.
I tend to work best with folks who understand themselves intellectually but have a hard time creating meaningful change in their lives. I blend a variety of theories and practices from DBT, Psychodynamics, CPTSD, and somatic therapy to help create change that is felt, not just understood. My work is generally relational, trauma-informed, and emotionally focused, blending deep exploration with warmth and intuition. My practice is also informed by Adler, Jung, Yalom, Freud, and many great existentialists.
My fee is $200 a session, reflecting the highly specialized nature of my practice and the dedicated, intensive support I provide. I limit my practice to just 8-10 clients at a time so I can be fully present and provide the highest standard of care. I can provide superbills for clients and assist with reimbursement.
I offer sliding scale sessions for transgender clients.
